Racing returns this weekend to the Triangle Aquatic Center with the TITANS season kickoff meet. This year we open with a Dual Meet with the YMCA of the Triangle Area. Over 700 swimmers across 9 sessions will compete in this short-course event. The meet will consist of a Friday evening session for the 13&O swimmers and then morning sessions for 11-12 then 10&U swimmers and afternoon/evening sessions for 13-14 and 15&O swimmers on Saturday and Sunday.
As with our other events during the phased reopening due to the pandemic, several important restrictions do apply for this meet. Only active swimmers, coaches and meet personnel are permitted inside TAC. There are no spectators permitted for this event. Our parking lots surrounding our Facility will be closed to all traffic – please park in the new South Parking Lot or at Cary Towne Center. All swimmer drop off and pickup should us the drop off/pickup lane ONLY. Added to this meet will be our TAC sponsors and vendors. Tables for these organizations will be spread throughout the parking lot and include Poolside Grill, Smart Athlete, Fine Designs, Carolina Swim Shop, Jolyn and Blended Light.
