March championship season starts in earnest this weekend when nearly 400 of the region’s top swimmers come to Cary to compete in the 2023 ESSZ Speedo Sectionals, March 9-12. Athletes representing over 50 teams will swim in this seven-session meet. The event kicks off Thursday evening with a Timed Finals sessions and Friday though Sunday feature morning Prelims and evening Finals. The event is sponsored by Speedo, the TITANS team sponsor and All American Swim will also be in attendance as the event merchandiser and with swim apparel and gear available for sale. Poolside Grill will be open for all sessions of the event and the PT Network will be offering recovery services for athletes Friday and Saturday.
Sectionals is a paid-admission event. The parking lots surrounding the TAC buildings are identified for use by meet officials and coaches. Please park in the West Parking Lot or at the Epic Games lot.
The Triangle Aquatic Center is proud to offer TAC-TV, our streaming network, for this event. TAC-TV allows you to follow the action of every swim on your personal device. Please note that you should ideally use Wi-Fi or your own personal Hot Spot to view a live stream (cellular network service can be unreliable).
