FAQs

What do I get for a $1,000 ticket?

  • Admission for two (2) adults to the Soirée (must be 21+ to attend)
  • Appetizers, cocktails, beer and wine
  • Private viewing of the Team USA practice in session
  • Conversations with the Olympians listed above
  • Three (3) VIP passes for Media Day, providing front row seating in the Stadium and ability to jump to the front of the autograph line
  • Commemorative gift package.

Why are tickets so expensive?

  • Due to the overwhelming interest in watching Team USA train and access to VIP Media Day to meet athletes, we must keep the Stars & Stripes Soirée event exclusive.
  • This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and ticket sales benefit our 501(c)(3) non-profit.

Which non-profit benefits from this exclusive event?

  • TAC is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit with a mission to “Develop Swimmers for Lifelong Success.” As such, the Stars & Stripes Soirée is a wonderful fundraising opportunity for us.
  • TAC has a large capital debt burden and high fixed overhead costs associated with an event-style aquatic venue. 100% of the proceeds from the Stars & Stripes Soirée will return to our organization to support our mission and goals.
  • 60% of the ticket price ($600) is a tax-deductible donation to the Triangle Aquatic Center. A donation receipt can be provided upon request.

What is the donation used for?

  • The donation directly supports our mission of Developing Swimmers for Lifelong Success.
  • A recent, tangible, example of how these specific donations will be used are the new starting blocks that can be seen on the East end of the competition pool. The new block tops and refurbished stands were $25,000+. Help us pay for them, so that we can add more to the West Pool in the future!

Where can I find more information about Media Day?

How do I buy tickets?

  • Soirée tickets can be purchased here
  • Media day is first come, first serve (unless you have VIP access passes)!

How much are tickets for Media Day?

  • The “entrance fee” is a donation of non-perishable food OR hygiene item for Dorcas Ministries.
