December championship-level meets continue this weekend at TAC where we are proudly hosting the 2021 Speedo Blizzard Blitz, December 10-12. Nearly 600 top 13&O swimmers from across North Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts and New Jersey will compete is the Qualified Meet. This six-session meet features morning Prelims and evening Finals each day. As always, this all all events are made possible by TAC’s amazing family of sponsors. Speedo USA is the Named Sponsor for this event – their first as a TAC sponsor. This event also features Northwest Designs selling official meet merchandise, Blended Light Photography over in-water photographic services, and TAC sponsor College Swimming Guide will be here Saturday as well to speak to our patrons about preparing your child for swimming in college.
TAC will be permitting spectators into the Stadium for this event. All patrons must wear facemasks at all times – those without will be turned away. No one is permitted to bring in deck chairs to the Spectator Stadium but we will permit them in the Atrium as long as they do not interfere with the exits. The parking lots surrounding the TAC buildings are reserved for meet officials and coaches only. Please park in the new West Parking Lot or at the Cary Towne Center.
The Triangle Aquatic Center is proud to offer TAC-TV, our streaming network, for this event. TAC-TV allows you to follow the action of every swim on your personal device. Please note that you should ideally use Wi-Fi or your own personal Hot Spot to view a live stream (cellular network service can be unreliable).
