Scholarship Opportunities
The Nonprofit Triangle Aquatic Center’s mission is to Develop Swimmers for Lifelong Success.
In pursuit of this mission, TAC has created three scholarships in order to provide more opportunity and affordable access to swimming programs for the children of the Triangle.
TITANS Opportunity Scholarship
The purpose of the TITANS Opportunity Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to talented swimmers whose families face financial hardships. Swimmers who qualify for the TITANS Opportunity Scholarship have the potential to excel in the sport. They may miss that chance if the financial burden of swimming is not reduced by generous donations.
Recipients of this scholarship receive the following:
- Credit back 50% of annual registration cost
- Monthly dues commensurate with swimmer group placement

TITANS Performance Scholarship
The purpose of the TITANS Performance Scholarship is to help offset the high travel costs for swimmers who have an opportunity to excel on the National stage. Swimmers who qualify for the TITANS Performance Scholarship have the potential to represent the United States, or other countries of citizenship, in international competition.
Recipients of this scholarship receive the following:
- Jr. National Cuts: Scholarship equal to 30% of monthly dues
- National Cuts: Scholarship equal to 60% of monthly dues
- Apparel package
Eligibility requires you to be a Registered TITANS swimmer who achieves a current individual time cut to qualify for a short-course or long-course USA Swimming Junior or Senior National Championship. Learn more about this scholarship. Contact Head Coach, Bruce Marchionda with questions.
