Candis has spent the past 15 years in the design and construction industry. Her journey to become a construction industry leader was anything but typical. Candis, began working with an international Construction Management firm as an intern, and spent the next 12 years excelling within the industry. She cut her teeth in preconstruction which is a relationship-oriented role and worked to drive deep engagement with clients and trade partners. Having a passion for seeing the project from start to finish, she migrated toward design integration which allowed her to provide project value from cradle to grave.

Candis most recently joined the Cumming Group which is an international project and cost consultancy that are experts in construction project and cost management services. Cumming has over 1,000 team members and has completed project in more than 35 countries and has a portfolio that includes work across a broad range of sectors.

Candis enjoys working in the community both professionally and personally and spends a lot of time paying it forward through public service. She is passionate about creating a safe and equitable environment for her community and really enjoys partaking in activities that allow her to make a positive impact.

Candis and her husband have 3 kids and reside in Raleigh. Candis really wants a new dog.
