NCHSAA State Swimming Championships Return To TAC This Weekend

The 2021-22 High School Swim Season comes to a conclusion this weekend as TAC once again hosts the NCHSAA State Championships, February 10-12. Nearly 1500 of the states top high school athletes will come to Cary to swim for a championship for themselves and for their school. Thursday features the 4A schools. Friday brings in the 3A level and Saturday we’ll host the 1A/2A teams. Morning Prelims for each of the sessions warms up at 8:00am and the meet will get underway shortly after 9:00am. Evening finals warmup at 3:45pm and the event will start around 4:45.

The event will bring a number of changes to our facility to accommodate the event. Parking on site on both the side and front lots are reserved for event personnel only. The West Parking Lot and the lot at the former Cary Towne Center are available for swimmers and spectators. Bus parking is only permitted at the mall lot.
