TAC's State-of-the-Art HVAC System
TAC recently invested over $2MM towards the renovation of what is now a state-of-the-art HVAC system. This advanced system is designed to ensure the highest possible air quality for our elite swimmers, guests and staff. With cutting-edge technology, three units maintains 6x increased airflow, optimal temperature and humidity levels while filtering out contaminants, providing a fresh and clean environment.
Our upgraded HVAC system is also environmentally friendly, utilizing energy-efficient components and sustainable practices, including condensate recovery, to minimize TAC’s carbon footprint. Condensate recovery is a process that captures and reuses water that is condensed from the air by the HVAC system. In our facility, this system captures the water vapor from the air, condenses it, and then collects it for reuse in the pool, thereby reducing our overall water consumption and increasing energy efficiency.
Our facility also includes Paddock Evacuator Technology to ensure good indoor air quality (IAQ). The Evacuator is a source-capture system that pulls trichloramines from the water’s surface and, with the help of HVAC equipment, exhausts them outside the facility to significantly improve IAQ and protect the health of not only swimmers in the pool, but also coaches on deck, and parents in the stands.

Quarterly Deep Clean
In addition to this upgrade, TAC has partnered with Enviro-Master of Raleigh to implement a rigorous quarterly deep–cleaning protocol. Enviro-Master is an expert in commercial space disinfection and sanitization. These deep cleaning sessions further enhance the safety and comfort of all.
These improvements contribute to our goal of being a state-of-the-art training facility. With top-notch air quality and a pristine environment, athletes and guests can train and enjoy our facilities to the fullest. These improvements have also created a healthier workplace for our staff and reduced maintenance stress.
