Cinco de Mayo festivities swimming style comes to TAC this weekend with the 2021 TITANS Cinco de Mayo Meet, May 1-2. Nearly 350 swimmers from across Central and Eastern North Carolina are coming to TAC to participate in the is four-session short-course meet. Festivities kick off Saturday at 1pm with the 10&U swimmers followed later that afternoon by the 11&O competitors. Sunday’s session kick off at 8am. TITANS in this meet our from our Developmental and Challenge swim groups.
As with our other events, restrictions are in place due to the pandemic. Only active swimmers, coaches and meet personnel are permitted inside TAC. There are no spectators permitted for this event. Our parking lots surrounding our Facility will be closed to all traffic – please park in the new South Parking Lot or at Cary Towne Center. All swimmer drop off and pickup should us the drop off/pickup lane ONLY.
This event will be available on TAC TV, our live-stream channel. To access the channel and to purchase a subscription, go to tv.triangleaquatics.org. As a special treat, On the Border Mexican Grill and Cantina, a long-time TAC sponsor, will be showing the live stream at the restaurant so that our swimmer’s families can enjoy a Mexican feast while watching the action.
