The final prep meet before summer championships is here for our TITAN swimmers. Sunday TAC hosts the TITANS July Qualifier which features over 400 swimmers from eleven state-wide teams competing in this three-session meet. The first session covers all long course events other then distance freestyle. Session two is the distance freestyle and session three is time trials of all session one events. TAC offers a true qualifier in hopes of swimmer’s achieving their qualifying times to swim at the variety of championships throughout July.
This event is open to spectators. No one is permitted to bring in deck chairs to the Spectator Stadium but may do so in the Atrium as long as they do not block any entrance or exit. The parking lots surrounding the TAC buildings are reserved for meet officials and coaches only. Please park in the new West Parking Lot or at the former Cary Towne Center.
The Triangle Aquatic Center is planning to re-introduce our TAC-TV streaming network for this event. TAC-TV allows you to follow the action of every swim on your personal device. Please note that you should ideally use Wi-Fi or your own personal Hot Spot to view a live stream (cellular network service can be unreliable). TAC Wi-Fi does not service the parking areas around our building. Streaming ability will be determined later this week and if available, you can access a subscription on our TITANS YouTube channel – https://www.youtube.com/c/TACTitans. Heat Sheets will not be available for the stream.
