The TITANS first full team long course meet takes place this weekend with the 2021 Spring Invite. The meet typically is designed as a kickoff meet for the long course season. With the postponement of the 2020 Olympics to this year, the meet changes it’s format to accommodate those swimmers looking to grab or improve an Olympic Trials cut. Nearly 650 swimmers will participate this weekend in nine total sessions. The 13&O swimmers will swim morning prelims and then evening finals Friday through Sunday. The 12&U swimmers will swim each afternoon in timed finals sessions. This meet is hosted by Northwest Designs, Jolyn, College Swimming Guide and Poolside Grill.
As with our other events, restrictions are in place due to the pandemic. Only active swimmers, coaches and meet personnel are permitted inside TAC. There are no spectators permitted for this event. Our parking lots surrounding our Facility will be closed to all traffic – please park in the new South Parking Lot or at Cary Towne Center. All swimmer drop off and pickup should us the drop off/pickup lane ONLY.
This event will be available on TAC TV, our live-stream channel. To access the channel and to purchase a subscription, go to www.tv.triangleaquatics.org. As a special treat, Buffalo Brothers, a long-time TAC sponsor, will be showing the live stream at the restaurant so that our families can enjoy outstanding pizza and wings while watching the action.
