Some of the top swimmers from the eastern and central U.S. come to TAC this weekend to compete in the 2021 TITANS Long Course Meet, April 8-11. Nearly 200 athletes with top qualifying times will be competing in the seven-session meet. Swimmers will be looking to add events to their qualifications for Olympic Trials and to improve positioning for the event. Swimmers from Maine to Florida to Illinois will be here to compete. This seven-session meet features a timed finals session Thursday evening with morning Prelims and evening Finals each day Friday-Sunday. The meet is sponsored by TYR, the Poolside Grill and Smart Athlete Physiotherapy.
As with our other events, restrictions are in place due to the pandemic. Only active swimmers, coaches and meet personnel are permitted inside TAC. There are no spectators permitted for this event. Our parking lots surrounding our Facility will be closed to all traffic – please park in the new South Parking Lot or at Cary Towne Center. All swimmer drop off and pickup should us the drop off/pickup lane ONLY.
