The Southern Zones Age Group Championship returns to Cary this year for the first time since 2016. Thirteen All Star teams representing their Local Swim Committees come to TAC to compete for the Zone Crown July 30th through August 3rd. This meet is a USA Swimming Championship-level meet and we should witness some outstanding swimming by the nearly 550 competitors.
The meet begins Tuesday with a timed finals session in the afternoon. Wednesday through Saturday feature morning prelims and evening finals. The Athlete Parade, a tradition for the Zones Championship, will take place before finals on Wednesday. The event also features a lunch social on Saturday between prelims and finals.
TAC Patrons and Meet Spectators: Parking at TAC is reserved for officials and coaches only. Please park at the Cary Towne Center. Access to the Competition Pool Deck will be restricted and will require a wristband for all adults for access.
