Short-course championship season is in full swing this weekend as TAC welcomes the NC Swimming Short-Course Age Group Championship, February 15-18. Over 1050 of our states top 14&U athletes come to TAC to compete in this four-day/10-session event. This marks TAC’s first time hosting this event since 2019. The meet gets underway Thursday afternoon for a Timed Finals session. Friday through Sunday will feature morning Prelims and evening Finals for the 13-14 swimmers, and afternoon Timed Finals for the 12&U’s. Our sponsor hosts for this event include Kiefer Aquatics, PMP Photography, the Poolside Grill, Dairy Queen and Northwest Designs.
The Spectator Stadium is open to the public and admission is free of charge. Heat Sheet programs for the event will be on sale in the Stadium lobby at the start of each session. All parking lots surrounding the TAC facility are closed to the general public, as they are reserved for coaches, officials and TAC staff. Our West parking lot and the Epic Games lot are available for swimmers and spectator free parking. Please follow our event-modified traffic plan and travel safe through the property.
