Bragging rights are on the line when the two top teams in the Triangle square off this weekend at TAC. The TAC TITANS and the YMCA of the Triangle Area send their best to the pool for a duel meet, May 18-20. The meet starts Friday with warm-ups at 3:30 with the meet getting underway at 5pm. Saturday has four sessions, starting at 7am and running until 9:30pm. Sunday has three sessions from 7am-6:30pm. Nearly 825 swimmers will be participating in this long course meet.
TAC Patrons / Rec Swimmers / Programs Families / Meet Attendees: Parking on-site is limited to Coaches, Officials and TAC Staff. All others must park at the Cary Towne Center. The parking lot will be monitored and violators towed. All Rec Swimmers and Program Family Adults must check in at the front desk to receive a wrist band to gain deck access. No one will be permitted on the Competition Pool deck except meet personal, meet swimmers and coaches. Rec swimming lanes will be extremely limited during all meet hours. Please contact the front desk for lane availability.
Admission to the meet is free and open to the public. TAC sponsors back Home Productions, Dchlorin8 and CPI Security will be on hand. Jolyn will be conducting a trunk sale in the TAC lobby. Also, the Blood Connection will be hosting a Blood Drive in the TAC parking lot on Saturday, May 19th between 10am-2pm. All donors will receive a Starbucks gift card.
