The Triangle Aquatic Center is hosting USA Swimming Futures Championship, August 2-5. This is the first USA Swimming Championship-Level meet ever hosted at the Center. Nearly 625 swimmers, 125 coaches and 50 officials from thirteen states will be participating in the meet. Futures features some of our country’s top swimming talent as swimmer’s compete to move up and become a part of USA Swimming’s National Team. The event kicks off Thursday at 4pm with a Timed Finals session. Friday through Sunday feature Preliminaries starting at 9am, and Finals starting at 6pm.
Swimmers, Spectators, Recreational Swimmers and TAC Programs – Parking for this event will be at the Cary Towne Center. Parking on-site is restricted to coaches and officials. Recreational swimmers should contact the front desk to inquire about rec swim availability in the Program Pool. Competition Pool swimming is for the event only for the entirety of the meet. Instructional pool will be open for both rec swimming and Programs, but no deck access is allowed. Check the front deck for Instructional Pool Program and Rec swimming schedules. To gain access to the pool area all rec swimmers and Program parents MUST get a wrist band from the front deck.
