The TAC TITANS 2018-2019 short-course season’s first event is this weekend with the annual Blue Green Intrasquad Meet, September 29-30. This year nearly 550 TITANS will divide in half and be swimming for the Blue or Green teams. Blue-Green is always lots of fun, raucous and EXTREMELY loud and this years event promises more of the same. Warm ups each day are at 10am with the meet getting underway at 11am. Each day finished roughly at 3pm.
Saturday the TITANS will also hold their Kick-Off Event. This event was originally scheduled for 9/15 but moved because of Hurricane Florence. All TITANS can pickup their TITANS gear participate in the cheer contest, team picture and a chance to hear Coach Bruce and Mike Curran speak. Instead of a pancake breakfast, we will have our version of a tailgate with fried chicken, cold cuts and snacks.
For the meet, deck access will be strictly enforced allowing only swimmers, coaches, officials and meet staff. Rec and Program swimmers who are looking to access the pool deck (not the Instructional Pool) must check in at the front desk to get a wrist band. Parking at TAC is only for coaches and officials – all others should park at the mall.
