The 2021-2022 competition season gets underway with this weekend’s TITANS Blue-Green Intrasquad Meet, September 18-19. More than 500 TITANS will hit the water in this meet designed for fun and comradery. Events will include progressive relays and relay boat races along with some really good short-course swimming. Warmups start each day at 9:40am with the meet underway at 11:30am. The event is made possible by all of TAC’s sponsors but in particular Get Spiffy On Demand Care Care and Poolside Grill. Get Spiffy will offer car washes, detailing and oil changes on Saturday (CLICK HERE to download the brochure for the service offerings and to reserve a service spot) and AdhereRX will be on-site to offer vaccination clinics both days (CLICK HERE to signup). Sunday will also feature a TITAN Swim Dads BBQ Cookoff.
This will be our first event since the COVID outbreak that we will be permitting spectators into the Stadium for a swim event. All patrons must wear facemasks at all times – those without will be turned away. The parking lots around the TAC Building will be closed both days to allow for Get Spiffy and the BBQ Cookoff. Please park in the new West Parking Lot or at the Cary Towne Center.
