Short Course Season kicks into high gear with the first of our big meets. TAC hosts the 2020 Strategic Systems Big Southern Classic, November 13-15. Nearly 800 swimmers from twelve clubs representing the Triangle, Carolina Coast, Greensboro, Charlotte and the Georgia Coast, all competing in this nine-session timed finals meet. Friday evening features the 15&O swimmers and then we have four sessions each on Saturday and Sunday starting with the 13-14’s, followed by the 10&U’s, 11-12’s then 15&O’s.
As with our other events during the phased reopening due to the pandemic, several important restrictions do apply for this meet. Only active swimmers, coaches and meet personnel are permitted inside TAC. There are no spectators permitted for this event. Our parking lots surrounding our Facility will be closed to all traffic – please park in the new South Parking Lot or at Cary Towne Center. All swimmer drop off and pickup should us the drop off/pickup lane ONLY. Added to this meet will be our TAC sponsors and vendors. Tables for these organizations will be spread throughout the parking lot and include our newest vendor, Northwest Designs along with Poolside Grill, Smart Athlete, Jolyn and Blended Light.

The weekend promises some exceptional swims and great competition. Join the tailgate in the parking lot and watch on your personal device or big screen. It should be lots of fun!
